We have been taking sports photographs for over 24 years and also competing in our chosen sports to national standard - so we understand what makes a good picture (from the perspective of the competitor) and possibly the best ways of getting them.

Initially started as AntBliss.com , after 5 years we are re-branding the sports coverage to Sussex Sport Photography.com. This will enable the sports photography to grow as a business in its own right as we join up more sports photographers across the country to deliver great images of their local action.

AntBliss.com will continue as the lead web-page and brand-name and you will always be able to find the sports photos if you come through here.

AntBliss.com will be developing new and unique high quality photographic products that will appeal to everyone with something precious to remember and protect.

As Sports Photography is a specialised branch of photography. It requires different equipment and different techniques to cover a sports event that can happen in an instant as opposed to family portraits, landscapes or wedding photographs. Apart from the right equipment, you need the right experience and knowledge of your subject.

A good sports photograph will capture the expression on the face of the competitor, the context of the event (if possible) and the impact of the moment. Not least it will capture something that can’t quite be summed up in words.
