Blogging and linking to pictures is possible - and you can stay legal:

You probably want to put a picture from the gallery into an email or a blog ?

You have several options - try to cut and paste it with the watermark,(and break copyright law), or you can post a link  - which when clicked brings you to the image in the gallery - which is legal.

WARNING - copying watermarked images is theft. We will charge. Please use the information below to make posting links and showing people your pictures easily and legally.

We have now added the “AddThis.com” button to the gallery image pages - this lets you post to facebook, myspace, digg or any other social networking page that you want to almost instantly.

The direct URL for any image is displayed underneath it when previewed full size - so simply copy that code and post it to your blog.. Its legal and quicker and just as effective.

Links will remain active until the image is archived - which is currently for about 90 days so make sure you buy your own copy (which you can then post legally on your website pages) before it goes.

Oh, and by the way - if we find our watermarked images illegally copied on your webpages, forum or server (webmasters are responsible here) we will invoice you for usage at our rates. If someone liked the image enough to use them to enhance their webpages, we feel its only right that you pay for them. That’s how it works at Tescos,(i.e. “oh no I wasn’t going to pay, I was going to tell everyone where I got the food from” doesn’t work at the checkout ) and that’s how it works here - use it - pay for it - its a very well proven system, and it helps us to go to Tescos to buy food (*or any other supermarket!).

Copying images and posting a link back to our website is not acceptable “reciprocal” practice. The images have been copied to enhance your website and a fee will be levied accordingly. You may only link to the images page if you have not paid.

Use the AddThis.com link provided on the page and all will be well, we don’t think we could make it much easier. Unless of course - you could buy the image - and that is pretty easy too !
